STORAGE
Whole hams should be stored in a cool/dry place until time to prepare for cooking. If it will be awhile before you are eating the ham, you may wrap the ham in brown paper and hang to age the ham.
All uncooked packaged ham/bacon/seasoning should be refrigerated upon arrival. These packages are shelf stable/not ready to eat products. Unopened packages of ham/cured bacon/seasoning may be stored in the refrigerator/freezer for twelve months (seal must not be broken). Once opened or if the seal breaks, the meat should be stored in an airtight container and eaten within seven days.
